Welcome to Rhodes Memorial Restaurant

The restaurant is situated in the beautiful Table Mountain National Park directly behind the famous Rhodes Memorial. In an elevated position, the restaurant has stunning views over the northern and eastern Cape Town suburbs and the Hottentots Holland mountain range.

Owned for the past 12 years by Carrie & Roy van Litsenborgh the restaurant caters for locals and tourists with a variety of cuisine to suit all tastes.

The restaurant offers outdoor seating in summer on the terrace and indoor with a roaring log fire for cosy winter lunches.

The restaurant prides itself on its cuisine, all of which is prepared from the freshest ingredients and all dishes are made to order. There is also a daily specials board with a variety of traditional and some unusual meals.

The restaurant is also famous for its home-made cakes and deserts, all of which are prepared on the premises.

There is ample free secure parking and many mountain walks start or finish at the restaurant.

Reservations are essential, particularly on the weekends.
